1. Scope

These terms apply to all orders placed through melvua.ch. The seller is Melvua, operated by Dylan Chanon Johner (sole proprietorship), Weinbergstrasse 4, 6330 Cham, Switzerland, info@melvua.com. By placing an order you accept these terms.

2. Contract

The products shown in our shop are an invitation to order. Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order by email or ship it. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Swiss francs (CHF) and include any applicable VAT. Shipping costs are shown before you complete your order. You pay with one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Payment is due when you place your order.

4. Delivery

Unless a different period is stated in the respective offer, goods are delivered as follows: 1–4 business days processing plus 5–8 business days delivery. This period includes processing and transport. We deliver to Switzerland and to the countries offered at checkout. Delivery times given in the shop are estimates, not fixed dates. For deliveries outside Switzerland, you are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes and fees charged in your country.

5. Satisfaction guarantee

We are convinced of our product. That is why you can test it for 3 months. If you see no change after regular use, we will refund the purchase price.

How it works:

  1. Before photo: Before you use the product for the first time, take a photo of the skin area you want to care for, for example your face, in good daylight. Keep the original photo file. The date it was taken must be visible, for example in the photo details. Without a before photo taken before the first use, the satisfaction guarantee does not apply.
  2. Use for 3 months: Use the product regularly as directed, ideally every day, for 3 months (90 days) from delivery.
  3. Request a refund: If you see no change after these 3 months, write to support@melvua.com between day 90 and day 120 after delivery. Please include your order number, your before photo (original file with date) and an after photo taken in similar light.

Once we have checked your request, we will refund the purchase price of the order to your original payment method. You do not need to send the product back.

Conditions: The satisfaction guarantee applies once per customer and household and only to the first order. Requests outside the period of day 90 to day 120 after delivery cannot be accepted. We may ask questions about a request and decline requests that clearly do not meet these conditions. We use your photos only to check your request and delete them once it has been handled.

Please do not send products back to us unless we ask you to in writing. The address in our legal notice is not a return address.

6. Damaged or incorrect deliveries and defects

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please write to us at support@melvua.com within 14 days of delivery, with a photo if possible, and we will send a replacement or refund you. Your statutory rights in case of defects remain unaffected. Please inspect your order on arrival and tell us about any defect promptly.

7. Statutory rights

Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for online purchases. The satisfaction guarantee is a voluntary service by Melvua and does not limit your statutory rights. If you live in the EU or the United Kingdom, the statutory withdrawal rights of your country apply where required by law. They do not apply to sealed hygiene products that were unsealed after delivery.

8. Use of the product

The Turmeric Bar is a cosmetic product, not a medicine. Results differ from person to person. Please read the ingredients before use and do not use it if you are allergic to any of them. We recommend trying it on a small area of skin first. Turmeric is a strong natural colour, so rinse thoroughly and be careful with light-coloured textiles.

9. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, we are liable only to the extent the law allows, and our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.

10. Intellectual property

All content on this website is protected. You may not copy or use it commercially without our written consent.

11. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is explained in our privacy policy.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The place of jurisdiction is Cham, Switzerland, unless mandatory consumer protection rules give you the right to sue or be sued at your place of residence.

13. Changes

We may change these terms. The version in force when you place your order applies to your order.
